Applique & transfer..

Remember i've mentioned about my secret project..yang konon2 nya dijangka siap 20hb tu?hehe.walaupun 10 hari terlambat..this is it..tadaa..







Made the boys t-shirts using applique & transfer technique.Nak membuatnya senang saja tapi dek kerana buat last2 minute,everybody in the house have to chip-in helping me finish it..

Method will be reveal later.sekarang ni terpaksa stop kejap untuk beri laluan kepada edisi wok with yan di dapur.till then, enjoy the pix & selamat hari merdeka!

the tutorial:
applique

things u'll need:
1.plain t-shirt,white preferably-which is very hard to find for small kids
2.felt-in various colours.I bought mine at craft haven,OU
3.embroidery floss
4.bucketful of imaginations,or u could just google-keyword:cute monster image..like i do.. :p

how to:
1.wash the t-shirt.leave it to dry
2.draw the image u want on a piece of paper
3.cut and use it as a template to cut the felt
4.cut felt
5.assemble the cut felt and start stitching beginning with the upper level and gradually your monster image begin to appear.
6.stitch the monster on the t-shirt

transfer

things u'll need:
1.transfer paper-found this at a computer supply shop..mahal jugak,sekeping rm3.50 and u need to buy the whole set which is RM35(10 keping)
2.t-shirt
3.iron
4.printer

how to:
1.type desired wordings
2.set it to mirror image option
3.print
4.cut wordings
5.set iron to high and slowly iron it,printed side down for 1.5-2 minutes (ala-ala gosok lencana sekolah lah)
6.if u want matte finish,u can peel it immediately.for glossy finish, wait until it's cool(don't worry,the transfer paper comes with instruction,in case u forgot)

maka dengan itu terhasil-lah karya yang xseberapanya di atas..
