well, it was a rainy day ..drizzling to be exact.The problem with drizzling rain is that it has the tendency to prolong its existence..No worries, we had our poncho's on (bought at the Egyptian store @ SGD 2 each) & have no problem roaming the area.The only nuisance was we had to carry our bags everywhere since we haven't checked in yet.Phew, it was a bit troublesome i must admit..especially when all rides wont allow you to bring your bags.We had to put it away in the locker provided & it wasn't for free..d*mn...plus both of us brought our own DSLR..double d*** (please pardon the not so good language :P).. & so..at 3pm we went to the hotel to check-in & dump away our bags so we could enjoy the rides better..
a night stay at Hard Rock cost SGD 315 ++ and by the time the bill came, it was a hefty SGD 371 per room..fuhh..but no regrets whatsoever.Staying here is indeed a wise choice.By the time we're done with USS, everybody was exhausted to the bone.mama went straight away to LaLa land as soon as her head hits the pillow..hehe..
whoppss..we're not done with USS yet..makan2 issue..there's actually no problem makan2 here as all the halal & non halal place are clearly stated at the brochures..just don't forget to get it from the information counter.We had our dinner at Mel's place, a nice 80's style restaurant at Hollywood Boulevard, a sure reminiscent of our time back in Nashville

& so..by 6.00pm the park was closing & walking out, we had the warmest wave goodbye by the staff..serious.. malaysia's themepark or any park should consider doing this too..we felt so appreciated :P
